One of the main venues of the 2022 FIFA World Cup, Al Janoub Stadium was designed by Zaha Hadid Architects. Inspired by the traditional Arabian dhow sail, the stadium features smooth, pure lines that create an iconic and futuristic architectural form. The entire exterior façade is clad with white A2-class fire-rated aluminium composite panels, meeting the strict fire safety standards required for World Cup venues while delivering high reflectivity, excellent weather resistance, and low maintenance performance. The total application area of aluminium composite panels reaches approximately 160,000 square metres. Endorsed by football legend David Beckham, the project stands as a landmark example integrating architectural aesthetics, engineering excellence, and global sporting influence.
